I remember back on RF, every once in a while there was a reply from "BMW NA Customer Relations" to some specific post of a problem with a car.

Usually, the reply was simply asking the original poster to call the 800 number and give a reference number (contained in the reply) to get further assistance.

I wonder what we can do to get them to monitor our board? Clearly, it would be a benefit to both BMW and to our members here...

I know about those guys. My point is that I'd love to see NA posting here like they do on RF from time to time.

As usual, I agree with our buddy, Rudy. While it is reassuring that the forum is being monitored fom Munich, there are some problems here specific to the US models that BMWUSA should be concerned about. I would hope anyway. When I used that line on Kerry, I got results.

I'm sure many "insiders" are monitoring the boards. I'm looking for the next step. Someone actually identifying themselves (generically, of course) and actually posting. I think it will offer some additional validation to our forum/community.

bmwpartsguy, thanks for your contibutions! That's the kind of validation I'm talking about...

Holy Buckets Rudy I can barely keep up with all the strings now :'(

Just kidding I wholeheartedly agree with you Rudy

We really do need BMW NA to monitor this forum to better understand the problems and concerns faced by their clientele

A product line is only as good as the support offered by the manufacturing organization or its representative

BMW NA I hope you care enough about future sales to listen
