My Ride: E60 (530d) 2010
Default PDC Malfunction after replacing broken sensor with a new chinese one

So, I crashed my E60 (530d 2010) a few months ago, and busted one of the front parking sensors. I got quoted 500 usd for a new one (third world country taxes yay), so I went into eBay and bought a chinese one for 20 bucks. I got it painted and installed but it said PDC not working. Is there a "software" solution to this? Do I need to install the original for it to work? I've read a lot on the internet but couldn't find an answer. Some people said they had to replace all the 4 front ones for the same chinese sensor to get it working, but I don't want to spend 60 bucks + paint job just for it not to work. Any ideas?
