Starter Motor Issue
In my 525d 3.0 E60 2007 when I put key in, it shows message that starter motor faulty and do not start engine and contact bmw.
but when I press start button starts engine as normal and message remains there of half and hour and goes off.
This message is appearing in car for more than two year where I have already driven this car around 30 miles. Car is still starting as normal and working fine.
Is this message a real or software glitch or issue in it? Please provide suggestions and early reply will be much appreciated.
regards
Harish

Sounds like you have a marginal or intermittent issue.
Please read your DTC codes so you (and us) aren't bungling around guessing or throwing parts at the problem.

I checked DTC and there was no error code found on scanner. Message comes and goes after half an hour there no issue observed in starting car not even in freezing weather.
