I am attempting to install the Blinder Extreme Laser jammer system in my E60. I can mount the sensor units in the grill to my satisfaction and routing the cables as a group out of the engine bay is not a problem. How to get the wires into the cabin is my concern.

I can not find an existing firewall penetration that I can use. I found one that was packed so tight a pulling wire wouldn't pass through. Access to that one pass-through required an hour of various disassemblies as well.

Has anyone found a way to pass multiple cables into the cabin without drilling?

If drilling will be necessary, are there any favorite locations near the front half of the cabin to make entry?

Any comments will be welcome.

You know I'm in trouble when I start answering my own questions! The below link to RoadRunner's previous post contains all the answers (and more).

Sorry for wasted space and energy.
