Look what I found while searching: Dave's welcome thread
It's probably the first thread of the forum, allthough it is #3, but there doesn't seem to be a #1, nor a #2.
Edit: And don't forget this thread.

Yes, that's me. I was also over at RF and was here from day one, but registered and started posting later.

You also own the most factory modded (BMW OEM fully equipped) E60 in here.
We can make a poll into the site comments and suggestions forums about this matter
BTW who's the #2 member? I wonder because Das is #1 and Lomag is #3

Ha! Ice youre #1 in posts by far. I think you deserve prestigiously the #4 member place or even #2 (If can be done) along with Rudy, as you both are our forums moderators

As far as changing member numbers, I don't see why it's important. If anything, keeping things the way they are is best since that preserves the "history" of the board, etc.
(Lomag's #3 is the only one I'm aware of that was modified from the original number...)

Thanks Rudy
I know, but that's just some thoughts when I was reading the post with board history

What's interesting is that member number 2, "Litster," hasn't posted here since 2003 but it shows that he last visited the forums in August 2005...

in his last post that he desided not to buy the E60 but an M3 and later an E61 for his wife Contributors

The following should be posted as a FAQ

I'm no forum historian so someone correct my facts if they are wrong but here goes...
In that thread, you'll see some familiar names, JDN, sg530, Dantheman, kscarrol, Rizbel, Matrix, jtxc, BMWHobo, sj3, browellm, ethanbmw, heezy545i, rollee, etc. Thanks to those guys and many others for sticking around and allowing the momentum that we built on that day to cascade into something quite big and successful!
What happened next? Well, besides the coming of Iceman,
the forums grew and became more popular. Again, I can't speak for Dave and Mark but I think the little "hobby" that Dave was running on the school's servers was becoming large enough that they probably wanted it moved to it's own domain, etc...

since its infancy. I've been idle for awhile when I moved here in HI, leaving my 5er and beloved family in SoCal. But I rediscovered the joy of posting and reading on this forum
.
