It's when you purchase something from someone and while in the preliminary stages they are always in constant communication. The moment the money is sent, boom! It's like pulling teeth for info. It's not like I bug the guy everyday and I know the merchandise is going to take some time but would it kill him to reply a few words to my PM? I just want an update.
End rant.

I always call back

But back on topic, it's just good business practice to keep in touch with your customers. I have serious misgivings about buying anything from this fellow again.

Maybe, if he doesn't straighten up. I'll see how this whole transaction plays out. A lot of people think he's god on wheels so maybe he'll make it up in the delivery

yeah i hate that, once they have ur money they don't care...you know what I also hate, I've dealt with a few on this forum, they say they really want to buy it and we come to an agreement on price and then they agree to buy it, then they never respond to complete the transaction...bastards..in the mean time you already told people that wanted the part that you already promised it to someone else, so that person goes and buys it somewhere else, then the buyer backs out and you get screwed.

This is quite a common practice in the tuning business. I've seen a lot of what you're describing and have been in your shoes in the past. It sucks.

Yeah, I have been in the same boat for about a week. I'm not bugging the guy though. It's just killing me - every day I check the mail and it's not there.


Small metal parts from Canada (for a watch)... who knows what US Customs is doing... scratching their heads if they -are- scrutinizing them.
