Xcarlink plug-in play Multimedia interface
originally purchased for my dream to add a car-pc and thought this would be perfect for the video adaption. the idea of absolutely no coding caught my attention. i never got around to building my car-pc and i mainly just used this for my iphone and viewing youtube videos on the screen when my friends were in the car. but now that i have the iphone5 and the apple adapter doesn't output video (atleast until they come out with one, sound works perfect though with the adapter and the cable i am providing) i never really used this anymore. works great and it is VERY easy to install. like i said, no coding is necessary, but if you use the iphone/ipod/itouch cable im including you will need the AUX activated as it uses that. used for a few months and works excellent for viewing videos from a phone, i always used this for navigation. downloaded motionx on the app store and the output was better than any navi ive seen in car (my opinion), and viewing pandora album covers (if iphone is jailbroken). btw i used this on a pre-lci, i am unsure if that makes any difference, but thought i would throw it out there.
included are all the cables needed for a plug and play install and no wiring cutting or taping required (unless adding reverse, need to tap into a reverse signal) but i never used that.
extras i am including:
2x Audio video cables
1x iphone/ipod/itouch video/stereo jack cable, charges, plays videos and sound. i just put a cig lighter usb charger under the glovebox and got my power source from there.
190 shipped. US only.

This interface is fully plug and play and will allow you to connect a reversing camera / iPhone / iPod / DVD player / TV tuner / Playstation / basically anything with a phono video connection!
The video plays full screen on the iDrive screen, and this interface works with both the standard/business 6.5" screen, and the professional 8.8" screen.
The interface is capable of:
- 2 AV inputs
- 1 Reversing camera input
- 1 RGB input
- This unit as well as outputting to the iDrive screen, can output to external monitors (e.g. screens in headrests)

i took these photos using my sisters iphone4 as source of video minutes before uninstalling from my e60.
youtube video i found of someone playing a movie with it.
