WTB: Xenon Adaptive Headlights (Pre-LCI)
#1
I have an adaptive system failure in my front left (driver's side) headlight and I need to find a replacement.
If anyone has a set of Pre-LCI Xenon Adaptive Headlights that they have left over after an upgrade, I'd love to take them off your hands.
I need the front left, but since mine are both a bit worn, I can take both if it's a reasonable price.
If you've modded them that's cool too, I'm open minded, I just want my adaptive system back
Here's a picture of what I've got now just incase:
(Not sure why it came out upside down...)

I think I had the same problem. The left adaptive light would get stuck. Mine fixed itself after I was messing with the turn signals installing my LEDs. I think it might be a brittle wire problem. Try disconnecting the light and reconnecting it. Lightly tap it on the side (by the turn signal) and have someone turn on the car while u do that. Hopefully it will catch on like mine did and has been working ever since. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, I'll give that a try before I install a new one. The fault started one day after I washed my car, so I'm concerned water may have shorted out the control unit or motor. With any luck a little technical tap like you suggested might do the trick though.
