Depending on how much you want to spend you can get KSports from Acute Performance (Michael), they've worked well for me.

+1 They ride really nice.

P.S. Sorry for not getting back to you John. I had a free Saturday last week, and was bored, so a friend came over and I did the install myself . I had a lot more work to do on the car, like taking off the front and rear bumpers for adjustments and quad diffuser, so decided it would be better to make it a DIY project. 12 beers & 9 hours later...

Okay. Thread jack over. I guess its not a thread jack actually, the picture helps you see the possibilities of the KSports.

Again sorry for the threadjack, but to Fronjoni - no problem, turns out my wife had plenty for me to do on her "honey do" list anyway, so far most of my house has been repainted - EEESH!!!!

I thought you didn't want the ride quality of coilovers?

Yup,
But really dont know -- Suggest something, dont want to go over 0.9 inches either and want to get a soft setup in that range.

Like I said to you over the phone, if you don't want to tuck your tires you'll have to get the proper tire sizes then go w/ springs and new shocks.

If you go coilovers, you'll hate the ride. If you go with springs, your tires tuck under your fender -- exactly what you don't want.

No one makes springs that drop <0.9". If you want to chance it, get shocks and eibach springs, that's the combination that will give you what you want with the least amount of what you don't want.

Vogtland - 1.2"/1.2"
Eibach - 1.2"/1.2"
H&R - 1.4"/1.3"

+1

To OP, have you ever sat in an E60 with coilovers? You really need to try that out to have a general idea whether its what you do or do not want.
