No im pretty sure they changed the engine for the 530i in 2006..the 2004 and 2005 530's have the same engine as the 02+ 330's up to 2005 i believe
if you have m54 engine it will work..

dude look at what year those supercharger fit for 330i..
they are for older engines..NOT the same one as the new one...
also you cant just put same thing as 330i.. room space can be differnt ...
theres only supercharger available for 530i with same engine as 01 e39 up to 04 e60 530i..
if it is 05 530i that means it has 255hp N52 engine instead of M54 engine..
e39 had m54 engine and someone has supercharger with m54
if you have 225hp engine you can do it.. other wise you cant

Always a good idea to check your facts before making strong comments.......goes a long way toward people trusting your knowledge.

First of all I did not make a strong statement. No need to argue but I was searching for supercharger but only available for m54 and not for n52. 05 530i they changes the engine from m54 to n 52 in the middle of year

If he had a MY 2006 car (i.e. manufactured after July 2005.) he would not have called his car a 2005 530i.
true but they started to put n52 engine in 02/2005 model
just go to this link
http://richmond-bmw.com/Preowned-Inventory...toryId=25746706
http://www.tischerbmw.net/certified-cars.aspx
and search for 05 530i.

![Wassat](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/wassat.gif)
This site http://www.cars-directory.net/history/bmw/5-series/
this site http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_E60
and our site http://www.e60.net/information/optio...s/my2006_530i/ http://www.e60.net/information/optio...s/my2004_530i/
says you are incorrect.
Also, these two sites you posted proves nothing.....dealer websites in general are notorious for wrong used car info. To my point, the first site (Richmond) you posted lists a 2005 530i Grey/Black but has pictures of a Silver/Grey 545i (look at the engine).
As for the second, they don't even have a 2005 530i listed for sale.
![Confused](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
However, if you want to go with the pre-owned listing route........ go to Autotrader.com , limit your search 2005 530i with pictures only, make the distance from your zip code anything you want, then look at the pictures of the engines if the listing has them.
