Default WTB: Style 124 Wheels for 535xi

Of course my first post is a WTB one (as well as on a couple of other BMW forums)...oh well.

Regardless, I'm thankful that the snow is starting to melt away here in Boston, unfortunately, a pothole busted one of my wheels. Since the others are pretty dinged up anyway, I'm relegating them to full time winter wheel duty. I'm hoping to replace these with a set of seemingly difficult to find style 124s with AWD offset. Specifically, I'm looking for 2 Front: 18x8, ET43 and 2 Rear: 18x9, ET55.

There seem to be plenty of the RWD offset wheels available, but not many AWDs that I've come across.

Cheers,

-jg

I have a set becoming available next week. I'm putting on a different look. Mine are stock 535xi style 124s with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s with probably half or a little less than half tread left. I'm in chicago. You can reach me at ade.ahmed@gmail.com We can figure out a full package cost. I am thinking somewhere along the $700 range plus shipping. Only 1 wheel has a bit of curb rash. Can go take pictures if you're interested.

You could also do a square wheel setup with the 43's if they are easier to locate.

to the forum!

Thank you both for the replies.

I actually found a really great deal on a set of 18x8.5 VMR VB3s with tires. I just hope the hyper black color works out on a black car...wasn't going for the Vader look, but you never know.

As long as these wheels don't get blitzed once pothole season starts here in Boston, I should be good to go.

Yeah, I sometimes let the "deal" make the decision for me. I got a good deal on my winter setup that way ($500 for the entire package). Good luck with your new wheels.

Yes let's see some pictures! I'm debating my spring setup as well. I'm on the Pike all the time going back and forth to work and home.. I'd love to see your wheels sometime. I'm aiming for 19" Miro 111 myself. Haven't decided on square or staggered yet though...

Yes I do, I'm starting a new for Sale thread about them soon.
I have taken the tires off and have just the wheels available. Wheels are mostly in very good shape. One wheel I found to have a slight bend but it obviously balanced perfectly since I never had any vibrations. This of course means I'm going to looking at a lower price, probably 450 plus shipping or somewhere there.

Tehy should be the same offsets for my 06 530xi right? Please post pics soon when you get the chance. Thanks
