Are you talking about the rear, clear tails? Jus so you know khooger, the new LCI's flash red for their turn signals now, not yellow, when looking at the rear of the car.
I just found out!

I dont know if you want, but on my front turn signals, are LED bulbs (I got them from ebay also, from the UK.)

When turned on, they look exactly like xenon color, and bright too, not dim like some "hyperwhite bulbs" and also its clear in the housing so it doesnt look blue.

I also used resistors and was able to get rid of the error message.

Let me know if you want, I'll post up a DIY and pics on how to do it.

I think it looks real nice compared to the amber color. and matches our xenon's perfectly. I have 6000k bulbs for my HID's.

LED's on ebay from UK
LED 581 Bulbs (581 is the front turn signal bulbs with the offset)

I found a set of 6 Solaris Invisibulbs on Modbargains.com for $49.50

http://www.modbargains.com/product.aspx?pf...mw-e60-light003

So far this was the cheapest place i could find.

Take out your regular bulbs. Buy a can of spray paint (chrome, aluminum or silver). Tape of the metal part of the bulbs and hang from a string. Lightly coat the bulbs from about 8-10 inches away. Let dry and apply another coat if needed. Replace bulbs. Total cost ~$2. Send the me the difference in price from the overpriced Solaris bulbs.

Good Write Up Here

Found something interesting today cruising RoverActive's eBay store: BMW Genuine Silver Six Bulb Upgrade Kit. I didn't know BMW actually offered these type of lighting cosmetics. Has anyone tried these? I wonder how much Gary can get them for.

I looked up the part number (63217165496) in the picture on Pacific BMW parts site, they are $5.54/bulb. RoverActive is the biggest rip-off artist in the BMW community. That guys mark-up is crazy.

That is the side marker silver bulb part number, just need a other p/n's.

Got a reply back from Garry and he said he can't find a listing in his catalog for the lights. Probably a European item.
