Hi,
Was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with the stock factory rear muffler (fitted with vacuum operated restrictor butterfly valves).
Must be in perfect working order.
Just need the muffler with about 6" length front inlet pipe.
Please let me know.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi lilmanvc,
Thanks for your reply.
Honestly, I do not know what they would be worth alone.
I was offered here a full exhaust of a 540 for AU$320, being approx US$270 but that is not what I require.
I would respect your kind consideration, especially bearing in mind that I will need to pay freight to ship it here to Australia
Please let me know.
Cheers,
Mark.

I don't know about the 550i model.. but I took out my 535xi muffler and it weighs a ton.. shipping alone is going to be a humongous cost I would imagine.. I'm not sure if they are the same.. but I wouldn't want to quote you since again.. weight is a lot and it almost wouldn't be worth it to bring it to weigh .

Hi,
We have plenty of car wreckers (junk yards), but not one is currently wrecking a 550i. The 550i are rare as hens teeth, here.
Anyway, I might have located one.
Thanks.
