Looks like BMW is finally following in Lexus's footsteps. The hue on these OEM LED's are less blue and diffuse the light much better than the aftermarket ones.

Anyone know the part no. for these OEM license plate LED's? I'm not sure if the LCI E60's have them (maybe you LCI guys can chime in), but here are pics from an 08 E92.

You probably cant use it for the E60 unless you get some resistors to full the computer that the bulbs are not out. LEDs draw much less power than our ugly yellow halogen bulbs so the computer will think they're out.

I'm not so worried about fitting some resistors on, I just want to know where to buy these LED's from! I'm gonna hit up Garry on Monday and see if he can get them for us. I might even hit up the Lexus service department. Keep you guys posted.

I DO NOT SHOW LED LIGHTS FOR AN E92 FOR THE REAR LIC. PLATE. MY CAT SHOWS THEM AS 5W INCANDESCENT. IF THERE ARE LEDS WE HAVE NOT BEEN MADE AWARE OF IT YET
GARRY
Looks like BMW hasn't updated their system yet and we'll have to wait on this one. When I start getting impatient, I'll contact Lexus and see what they say.

Hmm... Is it possible to look at the part # from the car? I've got a friend of a friend that I can look to see the LED's....
