Im ordering a VIS soon like this week soon from nerweezy trinity i plan on installing it myself ive heard only but bad things about seibon sorry to thread jack but any one else have feedback

Its kinda hit and miss when it comes to either company

Seibon makes some great stuff

VIS made that Breyton rep that fits like shit

I ordered mine through my shop that has all their cars fitted with seibon so if it sucks, the owner will return it for a VIS hood.

yah i agree, some parts fit better from VIS and some fit better from SEIBON, it just depends on the part

Ive seen seibon in person and it looks great

the problem with CF hoods is that no two are identical, so one may fit great and they other may need more adjustment and cost more to do it

Joe and myself have or had the VIS hood and we had no problems with fitment.

I read that Seibon and VIS make their hoods together in the same factory now, that Seibon is suppose to be the higher end version of that, dunno if thats true at all but that would be funny if they were made from the same place

yeah funny how seibon's are also about 50 bucks cheaper

well from sellers yeah usually they are cheaper

Seibon has more margin for some reason

Thanks all, I think I've decided that I am going to buy one from an eBay seller and go pick it up fro around $450. My brother and I will be doing the install so we'll save us some money there as well. We are pretty handy with working on cars so shouldn't be too bad. If anyone has tips, I'd appreciate it. I will post pix of before and after and perhaps even a DIY! Wish me luck.
