I called AR again, lol they told me they now "fired" another builder, do these guys have a lame board of shit to say... Hes like we are not manufacturing for 6 months now. Meanwhile last week, the other guy who works there in the same office said we'll have stock in 2 weeks? These guys driving me nuts.

Anyone parting there car and getting rid of there downpipes for a 535xi?

Getting downpipes is somewhat pointless unless you have an aftermarket exhaust with like atleast 3" tubing right? Maybe someone more knowledgeable can clarify, I've been wondering this.

Definitely accurate but a downpipe on a stock exhaust still gives nice gains. With exhaust and programming a CHIP you can probably get a 60HP gain. I think catless downpipe programmed on a flash map can give 25-35HP? Exhaust cuts all those CATS out. (Someone can interject if I am inaccurate)

I believe no exhaust is needed for dp gains. Stock down pipes are a big part of the problem . Quicker spooling turbos for the win.

I keep thinking about exhaust but everyone I hear sounds like shit, I heard a remus on a 545i i didn't love it, i heard a dinan it was so much $$ it wasnt that great, Im stuck on the exhaust. I like an aggressive sound past 3000 RPMS but would like to be quiet while accelearting in lightly. Its a tough in between. But when I start my 535 it doesnt even sound like its on. My old exhaust on my subaru i got tickets driving around at night, not going that rout again. I just havent heard that many 535's with exhaust.

I called modbargains an was able to get the downpipes! Going to take 4 weeks so YA F'ing HOO. You guys convinced me with your happy aftermath after installation. lol downpipes are a solid upgrade. Stock exhaust just restricts some air flow with the DP
