yes they can fit a pre lci car with bruces cables. i have an 2007 and have the same lights and the v6 cables on my car and it is pre lci. so yes they will work on an 2006.

How can I tell if my car is pre-LCI? The build date is 10/05.

I did a little research on the cables and they seem expensive, take a while to build, which makes the whole settup $$$$. These are cool looking lights. I liked the lights I had on my 03 530i sport. They remind me of those.
