Parts alone are that much, and then you're in for a very delicate and grueling process, so if someone wants a ready-made solution, this is definitely something to consider. Would I personally pay 500 and give my headlights up? Maybe - not sure. If these were pre-lci, I'd definitely give it some thought, because one of the biggest reasons I haven't ever installed the Orions is the sheer amount of risk and effort it takes to get it done.

Anyways, sorry for "hijacking" your thread, pal. Again GLWS

Dont need any help, Pal!!!lI dont know of any single vendor thats charging less than $300 for the labor. When this first came out Luis was doing them for $500. You might wanna stop by e90post and see how much this kind of job is going for or ask Nomis_Nehc.

its usually 500 flat. that including the v2s. so 250 for the v2s and 250 for install.

Yah, but that's not the whole story though. For people that are not in Socal or Norcal, they will have to ship their headlights to either Umnitza or me. That is easily at least another $150 for shipping, closer to $200 round trip from coast to coast.

(first thanks to everyone who helped me figure out how to do the install - im looking at you TheRacerBoss)

BUT i dont know why anyone would PAY to have these installed, i did it myself and it was fun as hell! but then again, maybe im just crazy like that.

as for the sale itself....GLWS! im sure there is someone on here who would like to go the simple route and just swap out headlights...you definitely avoid a lot of work (whether you enjoy that work or loathe it).

Something about the needed precision/patience and my lack of it tells me I'd be WAY better off paying someone to do this for me, haha.

Chris,

These are the LCI headlights and from what I read its a lot harder to do. I did the eyebrow mod on my pre-lci lights and you couldn't pay me $500 to do it again. Call me a punk.

I know a couple of members that tried to do this and ended up damaging their lights.

TRUE!

as a matter of fact while trying to do some custom painting for the eyebrows....i totally jacked up a headlight and had to turn to eBay for a replacement....turned out to be a $200 mistake....but id still do it all over again because for me all the fun is in the journey and rarely in the destination lol.

still a stellar deal if someone wants a plug & play option for orions on a LCI car.
