These Supersprint Race Mufflers only have about 17,500 miles on them.
My recently purchased 2006 M5 came with a Supersprint exhaust (including X-Pipe), and while the overall sound is fantastic ... it was too loud. So I have put the stock exhaust back on. (I already sold the X-Pipe ... the loud part - sorry).
Price for the two mufflers is $850 plus shipping.
Here are some pics:

I'm surprised you found it too loud. This is one of the more quieter exhaust systems for the M5. Are you going to try another exhaust?
I'm sure I will go with some other after-market exhaust in the future (Dinan probably), but this was the low-cost, quick, reliable move for now.

I had the SS Street version on my M5 before my RPI system and found it to be almost identical sounding to stock. It was too quiet. I heard Race is a bit louder than street, but much quieter compared to Eis, Mei and even RPI, for that matter.
These should sell quick on M5Board.
