I doubt it that the only thing that changes in the BMW sport suspension option compared to the standard suspension (Non-sport) are the springs, so in order to obtain the same result, you might need to change additional parts.
I went with the Eibach aftermarket springs (Two years ago) and I'm still pleased with the result.

Nope.. sold them! Sold everything.... my stock wheels and my old bumpers. I have nothing.

Just get eibach springs. You won't regret it.

Does anyone know how much lower my car would look? and would a 545/550 sport spring work on a 525?

thanks a bunch!

Look at it this way - the stock sports package will lower your car .7" from what you have now. Using an Eibach spring set will lower a total or 1.2", or an additional .5" from the sports package. You likely won't be able to put springs on from a 545/550 as they're set up for the heavier engine. I have the part numbers (posted on another thread here somewhere) and they can be had for about $500 for the four. Shocks/struts are a different story. The SP-equipped vehicles have different ones as well but you can probably use your originals until they wear out and then get some Koni FSDs or something similar, unless you want to pay the $800 right now...

like sparky12 suggested, dont go for sport springs from a 545/550 for a 525 due to the set up of the springs for the weight. get eibach. in addition to that option, you could also get h&r. their springs are made either for the 525/530 or 545/550, same as eibach. h&r sport springs would lower a 525 1.4" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. h&r race springs would give a 2" drop all around.
