dennis, i have the remap on the N52 engine. there may be a difference between remapping the M54 compared to the N52. also, it does take about a couple hundred miles of driving hard to let the remap get used to it. i could honestly say that the rpms do climb a tad quicker in comparison to before having the remap. but the main thing i love about it is the gas savings. i was just talking to jesse at eurorev last week about it. with conservative driving, i get way better gas mileage. the remap ends up paying for itself. that's just my experience.
