Can you explain how the shift knob works on a pre-LCI? I have 2007 pre-LCI 530i, but it looks like the shift knob is for the electronic shifting module, not the manual one like our pre-LCI's. If it works on my car, ill take it. Also, does it illuminate too?

My Ride: 2004 BMW 530i

I had mine installed on E60 pre-lci 2004 530i with the shfit lights illuminated. I have an automatic. It was just plug and play, it looks really nice at night for that smg look. It was mainly for the look, I don't think I ever touched electronic shifting module, I'll double check. Thanks for the interest.
