WINTER IS COMING! These tires handle amazing in any kind of snow & sleet. Way better than the Blizzak WS60's I had which had same snow traction but the handling softness reminded me of an old Buick!

Thumbs down

Actually yes, in my opinion, they were absolutely better. The ws60's handling (not traction) sucked! Taction was about same but they just simplly handled like the car was on marshmallows. Also they were fairly loud. The Blizzak LM series is more on par with these but not the WS series.

And thanks for very informative response.

Let me expand on that...

I'll grant you that the Dunlops ride better, but when it comes to snow traction, the Blizzaks beat the Winter Sports hands-down. It's all subjective of course. YMMV

See graphic of Tire Rack customer ratings below.

Looking at those user ratings, the Dunlops are actually better in 3 of 4 of those categories. But ok, slight edge to WS in snow per those ratings (which personally I stated they were comparable and never said the Dunlops were better in snow). Looking back at what I wrote, the statement was a bit poorly worded.

It was my opinion that my "BMW handling" was converted into really soft/floaty like handling. Some might not mind, but I did not like it. It sort of made my car feel unstable at speed.

Have you driven on both tires yourself in the same car? I have. I drove one winter on the WS and sold them right after. Just did not like them as per above. Drove 2 winters in the Dunlops and I dont have anything bad to say about them. Just that I wish they would fit my new car but they dont. So I have to sell them.

Can't say I have, so you've got me there. I drove Dunlops years ago on several cars (not snows) and was sorta lukewarm on them. I don't think they gave me the mileage they promised. I was a fan of Michelins for awhile, but they started to get pricy. Since then, I haven't really been loyal to any one brand except the Bridgestone winters. I think they give you great value for the money. Had them on my E39 (WS and LMs), my E60, and my wife has them on her 2013 Pathfinder.

Your set is bargain priced, so I don't think you'll have a problem selling them. GLWS
