My Ride: '05 545i M - Sepang Bronze
Default

So i'm trying to see if theres some interest in some parts i have on my 05' 545i right now, or if i should just sell the car with the parts on. What i have is as follows:

-Complete OEM M-tech kit (original bmw parts not replicas) painted Sepange Bronze
-RPi axle back exhaust and ram air kit (used 5 months and would prefer to sell together)
-20" IKON Turismo staggered rims with Falken tires (used about 5 months in perfect condition no curb rash). The lip of the rims are powdercoated Sepange Bronze.

If there is suffient interest at reasonable prices then i'll get the bumpers, exhaust, and ram air kit pulled off. The rims are already off the car since its winter up here now and the snows are on the car. Obviously the buyer would be the one paying for shipping. I'm still looking around the site for similar items on sale to determine the best initial prices, if a veteran member could help me out with that i'd appreciate it.
I haven't been on this site very much or purchased things from other members to have a lot of credibility. But I did buy a tonne of stuff from Eloy over at RPi for my M5 and i'm sure he'll vouch for me. Thanks.

i'd maybe sell the rims and exhaust if i were you, but i'd sell the rest of the car as is. unless you're trading it in.

i guess you have to factor in how much could you sell the mtech for? labor to swap to original parts?
plus you have a rare color, and you'd have to find a unique buyer, but even if you do, maybe the paint wont match 100% since its a metallic color.
and maybe you'd have to price the kit at a point where someone will have to factor in repaint. not worth it in my opinion.
plus, weren't your wheel liners cut to make the bumpers fit? then there'd be gaps with the original bumpers.

i'd vote to leave the mtech alone. it will definetly make the car easier to sell.

Leave the kit. Sell the rims and exhaust. Trust me, the kit will help your sell, unless your trading it in.
