I love the vorsteiner hood and have been looking for one for a while, but I'm planning on painting it to match the car so it is a little pricey for me and it seems like a shame to paint the carbon fiber.

Someone looking for carbon fibre should definitely pick this up.
To clarify, the hood already been painted in silver grey, but the inside still naked carbon. the vent was tinted/clearcoat to look almost black in the shade but still show carbon weavy in the light.

It's just the hood. You're confusing it with the M5 front bumper which would need modifications to fit non-M5 fenders.

Oooops, i guess i should have been more clear. I knew that it was just the hood but from my understand an m5 has wider fenders. So i was worried about matching with the fenders. Im getting the umnitza m5 front so i guess thats another question.

I already have the RD Sport decklid spoiler on the my M5, Kenny. Hahahaha! If I go with this, I'll have the RD Sport Roof Spoiler, Vorsteiner Decklid Spoiler and Hartge Rear Diffuser. My car will be all confused.

Are you going Stroker on us???

The wider fenders do not affect the size of the hood. It's the same as a regular E60 so you're fine.

I think you should also be fine with the Umnitza M5 front with your regular E60 fenders because others have installed that bumper without any issues. Check with member nigxdoof for one.

Lately I've been debating on getting rid of my RDSport trunk spoiler and going back to the stock M5 spoiler or even the Vorsteiner one but like C, I don't like to mix and match a bunch of parts. The Vorsteiner hood is hot but I just spent a bunch of money repainting my whole front end (bumper, splitter, hood, fenders) to get rid of chips and scratches so I should just spend the money on a clear bra. haha

C'

Dump the RD sport and no stroker for me. Can't justify the price/performance.

Tony, thanks for being a secretary. Maybe I should reward you with the price that u couldn't resist
