this is why members choose to pm prices versus listing it on the thread, just to get the best offer. You can either choose to engage in the auction/bidding war or not. There are other resources here to get the listed item. I do agree that perhaps a pm reply would be appreciated, but it is what it is...

The first payer usually determines who gets the items I list for sale here.
But then again, I don't play the PM me for price game. Same price for all,
same shipping charges across the 48 states.
After the transaction has been completed, I send all interested parties
a PM to let them know that it's been sold, just out of courtesy.
When someone expresses interest in an item prior to me listing it, then I
usually sell it to them (at the right price), and not even bother listing it.

Who are you to say im not a great guy and a jerk??? You joined in March 08, and now you know me??? Did I take your money and not send you a product??? I pm'd you an apology and told you I inadvertently sold the tail lights to someone else. I had about 50 PM's for those tail lights, when I sold them, I thought it was to you. I pride myself in being a very honest person. I have sold many items to other members on this forum, with no issues. I have always been courteous and have never started any arguments. Im sure many people can vouch for me. As far as the money goes, believe me buddy, it's not a big deal!!! If you have any other issues with me, PM me and I will send you my cell# to discuss this off the forums.
