Damn this is very sad news. I love dbae's M5. What an incredible car it is. So sorry that economic circumstances prevents you from keeping it David.

Thanks David for a good deal! I was gonna buy it new but at this price, it's excellent!!!

Oh damn, it's going on your ride John. What a great purchase. The M5 with that exhaust sounds like a wild beast. At least I will be able to still hear dbae's exhaust in action here in NYC.

Thanks Scott. I wouldn't call it due to economical circumstances tho. Its just too impractical as a daily driver. My next car will be just a fast!!!!! Lol.

The E60 550i Sport fits that bill to a T. It is an outstanding daily driver. Fast (although nowhere near what the M5 can do), plenty of low end torque and respectable gas mileage for a V8. I drive my leased 550i Sport like I stole it and have averaged 16.4 mpg in NYC over 25,000 plus miles.

Well then how about an E63? Better on gas than the M5 and a better daily driver IMHO. And the new one has the best auto trans on the friggin planet -- no torque converter.

How much are you listing the car for? Or are you just turning it in? I have a buddy who might be interested in a well-taken care of stocker M5 after the part-out is complete. On second thought, maybe even with the V. hood and splitter. Let me know, D.
