Default Question about Euro M5 Demand

Hey All;

So I've got another 6 months left in Bavaria before my study abroad is over. I speak German, and there are ~ 20 BMW strippers within 30 miles of my house. If I was to start making the round what should I be looking for and how much do they go for in the States? (I love y'all but don't want to lose money)

I can get (from what I am seeing) a pretty much endless supply of

M5;
- Rear View Mirrors (I guess they go for about $1k per set)
- M5 Steering Wheels (???)
- LCI Headlights
- LCI Taillights
- Euro Headlight switch (with rear Fog option)
- M5 Gauge Clusters (in Kph)

but I'm not sure the going rate here in the States. Could I have a few of you guys open as to what stuff is worth.

Thanks!

In regard to the strippers, I think you should live it up or extend your graduate studies before you start working full time. I think how much you spend depends on your needs and kinkyness, right?. In any case, congratulations and always remember to use protections.

As far as prices are concern, perhaps, you should check out ebay.com's listings for comparables and pricings?

Sorry, I can't be of much help, but I am sure a few of our veterans on this forum can...

Good luck!

P.S: Can you pick up a few M5 side mirrors for our E60's? I would be gladly pay you $800 for an OEM set for a 2006 530i (YB: 03/05) if you happen to move to LA or Orange County, CA.

I'm pretty sure I'm picking up an OEM set of M5 mirrors on Wednesday. Its the gunmetal color with all the goodies ... I'll let everyone know more than. I've also got a set of LCI head lights that might be coming off another car. Guy said that the car was a roll over but the headlights are 90% okay, not sure what that means ... but if the price is right I'll be picking up a set of those as well within the next week.

Forum vets, please appraise this stuff. There is also a Carbon Fiber <> steering wheel with red stitching I could probably grab as well. Just gotta look at the car.

I would be interested in a heated M5 or M-sport wheel that has holes for paddles.

I'll definitely keep a look out. Maybe this would be a better direction for the thread. What exactly do people want form the Fatherland that is easier to procure here than in the States?
