Thought I would offer my Peake tool to a forum member before auctioning on ebay or advertising in the Roundel.
I sold my 2004 545 and the tool can't be used on my 2009 335i coupe. Works for 2001-2007 BMWs.
Helped me detect and confirm a bad catalytic converter at 79K miles. OBDII reads generic codes, while the Peake tool reads
generic and BMW proprietary codes. Sells for between $140 and $150 on line. I will sell mine for $110 shipped anywhere in
the continental USA. If you can pick it up around Baltimore Maryland, I sell it for $100. it is in new
condition. Comes with case and instructions. The Peake tool is advertised in the BMWCCA Roundel.

Does this plug in under the dashboard? There are two models for the R5-FCX-3 which plugs in under the hood and the R5-FCX-3-16 which plugs in under the dashboard.

This is -16 model. It is determined by the connector. Does not indicate -16 on the tool.
