Does anyone know if this is just plug n play for a 2008 528i with halogen headlights, or is it going to require some extra wiring/programming from dealership? I asked the seller and he is not for sure either. thanks a lot ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
I would be willing to bet it isn't just plug n play though

Nope ...
... it's not PnP, the plug maybe similar but your Halogen will not have at least (if not more) an essential wire that Xenon need.
It'll need enable coding/programming afterward 'cuz your car was born w/o the Xenon in its DNA if you will so it'll not know how to control Xenon
Not only that conversion from Halogen -> Xenon your car will also need the Xenon auto leveling sensor set otherwise iDrive will give error.
Almost all that related to electronics addition into our car will need some sort of a blessing to work (via enable coding/programming) by Dealer, independent shop and/or DIY ... So ... it's rather Plug-'n-Pray ...
