what does this do if i already have a AUX input on the back of my center console?

So I added the +KMP3 and +NAUX to both modules and I still don't see my aux appear. Any ideas?

I got it to work. Activated Aux in NCS. Aux-- mounted

I am interested in buying 2, I have a question though, on brendinernst post he puts the pins into 2,7, and 8, is it going to be the same location using this cable?
