My Ride: 2006 550i Black Sapphire/ Black leather, NAV, Sports Pkg, Active Steering, Shadow Trim, PDC, Heated Seats/Wheel, Logic 7 Sound, 6 Disc Changer, Blue Tooth, Comfort Access/Seats, ACS Aluminum Pedals, Bi-Xenon lamps and MTEC 2X Super White Foglights
Gents-
I bought this beautiful set of OEM M6 rims from an M6 owner who upgraded to 20's after only 80 miles of driving on them. I?m not joking when I say that when I saw them, he could have told me they were brand new and I wouldn?t have thought twice. They still have the slippery clear coat on them and show no signs of wear or road debris marks/scuffs. You could eat off the inside of these rims they are so clean and have NO brake dust at all. Again these are basically like new condition. There is one tiny mark on one wheel likely from leaning it against something and it might be able to be buffed out, but honestly I don?t think anyone would even care or even see it. If I didn?t tell you about it, I?m very confident that you wouldn?t find it. I?m a very detailed person and looked them over thoroughly before buying and never saw it. It is not on the polished face. I finally saw it when I was putting on a coat of wheel wax by hand to protect the clear coat. I?ll take a pic of it. I put on Conti Sport Contacts after buying because the M6 tires would have rubbed. Just got the tires 2-weeks ago. The wheels also come with BMW center caps and metal valve stems (No TPMS ? my 550i uses FTM which uses the rotors and does not use sensors).
The wheels are the M style 167 Double Spoke design and are ultra lightweight wheels. They are factory polished to give that added luster. The sizes are 19X8.5 in the front and 19X9.5 in the rear. They will fit any non-xi E60 models 525, 545, 550, E63/E64 645 or 650 BMW. They are the M6 version, which has the perfect rear offset to make the rims sit flush with the fender and not requiring spacers. I think this is the single best upgrade you can do to a stock 5-series to make your car stand out. The kit is great too, but my opinion is that really only BMW enthusiasts notice the body kit.
PART NUMBERS and PRICE from BMW:
Front: LIGHT ALLOY RIM POLISHED 81/2JX19 ET:12 Part# 36117835146
Price $809.10 +core/wheel
Rear: LIGHT ALLOY RIM POLISHED 91/2JX19 ET:17 Part# 36117835147
Price $831.42 +core/wheel
Wheel Brand: OEM BMW (I believe BBS is the manufacturer)
Front Wheels: 167 19x8.5 ET 12
Rear wheels: 19x9.5 ET 17
Tire Brand: Continental Sport Contact 2
Fronts Tires: 245/35/ ZR 19 10/32nds tread remaining

Rear Tires: 275/30/ ZR 19 9-10/32nds tread remaining

For you to buy this set it would cost you $3,281 for the wheels, $1,260 for the tires and probably another $120 for mouting/balanacing/valves....also comes with center caps and metal valve stems.
All in that $4,661.00!! Ebay has sellers selling the rims only for $2,450 and one selling rims with shot tires for $2800 shipped. Again that is really only wheels as he states the tires are shot.
PLEASE NOTE.....The PICS ARE with the old M6 rubber on there, which are the same type as the one's I bought just larger. The new ones are 245/35 and 275/30. I will take some new pics as well and post.
PM me an offer??.. (no low balls please, as I will just keep them if they don?t sell)

How much is Garry Romani (BMW of Newport, Rhode Island) asking for these wheels, since he gives E60.net members a 25% discount on all OEM wheels?

Gary is quoting 166's at around ~$1600, I would think 167's are in that ball park as well.
To the OP, GL with sale, your price point is almost and/or at dealer price

The 167's are forged and not in the same ballpark as far as pricing or weight. If I remember correctly, he asks closer to $2400 or more.

dealer would charge about that...I was quoted about 3K-4K for 166's by my local dealers, as the Doc said: 167's cost more...
Again, GL with sale: 167's look great on non M5 e60's.
