I have a spk wheel. Can I just use my round airbag for the m5 wheel?

If you have sport wheel with the back look like what we have up here, you can use this round airbag.

I have 07 spk 530i. I'm sure its same airbag they use in m5.
Let me know, I"m interested in the wheel except for the airbag.
Thanks.

Darn it I want it too... such a good looking wheel (not to mention the mod) but I think we are stuck as our car is post-9/05 built which has a diff. backing design w/ pre-9/05.

Do you know if it will work, ie paddles, on an 06 550i? Is it a DIY or do you need the dealer?

Hi,
It won't fit on 06 550i due to different steering wheel structure internally .
