Just curious, why did you go with the M6 offset and not the M5? I like the 166's for my car and from what I found, the front are the same for both; ET 12. M5 rear ET 28; M6 rear ET 17.

m6 offsets are a bit more aggressive (lower) and get the rear wheels to sit closer to the fender/flush without the need for spacers. Most members like the look of the wheels flush with the fenders, giving it a look of a more aggressive/wider stance...

Thanks GENEaTALS, sounds reasonable enough. I'm in the market for a new set for my car and am learning more than I ever wanted to know about the offset. Still don't know it all though I went to an online offset calculator and punched in what I have now (stock 124's) and the M6 166's and it told me i would have 9mm more inner clearance but they would extend an extra 21mm out. So basically I am increasing from a 9 to 9.5, and moving out almost 1/2". That's probably a good thing then; I could fit a wider tire!! Does this sound correct? Sorry to hijack this thread
