Ok, both these units are upgrade ready to go to the next version. i have not done that yet. the jb3 will cost a fee and modifying the current harness. or you can run as it is which is still very potent. the procede v4 can be upgrade for no charge just with a software download ,when you do the upgrade the unit would be the same as the $800 tune. this one vin locks so thats why i did not do it. these units operate fine,i ran them both in my vehicles .But please do your research there is a ton of info on there respective websites.and on e90 post ,n54tech.I will include the cable need for firmware updates.Please understand what you may buy. I can guide you to the proper sources but i cant be tech support. pic time. Jb3
