The v1 is perfect for the freeway/highway...Not so much in town...I turn it off in the town or turn the volume down...It goes off because of the stupid shopping centers...But its a must on the freeway!

What mode do you have it in? I have in on little L and it only goes off with cops. Its very accurate

Make sure you look at the serial key to see what version of the V1 radar you are purchasing, this could be a difference of $100 or so in price of the unit. Very important.

there are 2 devices, V1 is made only for radar/laser protection with arrows for $399, 9500ci is more expensive not because its better, its just that it got laser shifter and GPS and some other cheesy features ( no offense on those who loves 9500ci). I mean these devices meant to be Radar and Laser protection only, why waste money more on GSP that built in the device, all they do is mess up the frequency. Ask you self which one is more accurate to pick out the signal, the one designated only for R/L protection or the one with fancy futures on it ?
