What's up bro. Hey how are these in comparison to the SWS 8xi? I have larger voice coils on mine because I am being used as a tester for Earthquake Sound. I got to know one of the head engineers there pretty well when I returned my first set. The updated version of the SWS should be coming out fairly soon. What I like about the SWS is how low they go without distortion. I have them set at 300/85 on the crossover and my 12W6 sub picks up everything 85 and lower. The SWS sound great within that range. Just wondering if the Rainbows would sound even better or if I'm better off sticking with what I have. The peak power is half of the SWS set but I think the frequency response is a little better. What do you think man? Thanks.

What's up brother. The rainbow is a dedicated midbass driver. If you already have a sub I wouldn't use earthquakes. They're function more like subs. No need for earthquakes and jl sub. What I would do Is have the JL low pass at 80hz and have the Rainbow do 80-250hz.
