Selling a set of average condition wheels and tires that came off a 2008 BMW 5 series 535XI. The wheels have 43 offset (will fit well on XI models) and will work with spacers on non-XI models. The snow tires were used only for 10000-11000 miles and have fair thread (about 7/32).
The rims are are 8 x17 ET43 Style 243. Offset on the wheels is +43. They have a fair bit of scratches from the years of use, but no bends and are balanced.
Comes with 4 OEM TPMS sensors already installed and OEM centercaps.
Tires are 225/50/17 Blizzak WS 60 winter tires.
$500 firm cash picked up.
If really interested, can post pictures. Sorry no shipping.

Most of the black edges are just brake dust with a few real curb rashes.
Just noticed, this rim only what looks like an edge bend - no impact on the rim. Does not affect on the drivability or vibrations

The newest generation of RFTs (all season or summer-only) have improved a bit, are less harsh riding, and somewhat (a little) forgiving of potholes. At the very least look for one of the brands with a good customer rating and include a road hazard warranty or if the price is right buy one separately ... Tirerack shows that info / detail.
Good luck with your decision - remember if you shop/buy on line through the link in my signature you'll earn a few extra $$'s in cash rebates.
I'm looking for another set of wheels for my 530xi - My current winter rubber will be done after this season, and I've only got one set of wheels now (I like to have a set for winter and a set for not winter). I like the price, but I'm not exactly in the neighborhood.

u3b3rg33k - where are you located?
oliviamichael - the way I think of it is how much each of them is going to cost and what your driving conditions are going to be. RFTs are a harder louder ride, but since my BMW assist is over, I don't mind the option of paying a little extra to be able to drive to the next town and not wait for AAA. If you find a good set, go for it. For winter tires, RFTs are much more expensive and only have a limited set of options, so non-RFT Blizzaks have been my tire of choice. I will be moving from MA to southern PA so basically won't be seeing as much snow. I picked up a great all-season RFT set that I have put on and I hope they will last me the whole year.
