Hey guys, I know I don't carry much clout here as I am a new member, but I know Ed (egk2) personally for 10 years. As a matter-of-fact, I was his "Best Man" at his wedding. He is 1000% reliable and trustworthy and I will stake my reputation on this forum on that. I completely understand the suspicion and I am sure Ed does too, but I just wanted to add my support so that you guys know he is a good guy in case he ever posts here again. Ed is in a managerial position with BMW and is frequently able to acquire BMW parts and accessories but does not want there to be any conflict of interest between his personal business and his professional job. Simple as that. Ed has supplied me with the majority of my OEM parts and accessories for my previously owned E36 M3, and I am sure that will continue for my currently owned E60. That being said... it's nice to know that the majority of us on these forums are enthusiasts that have each others' back... and really make an effort to prevent any of us from being screwed or duped.
Well put Rj... You never know, I come across some interesting e60 parts from time to time that I can let go cheap, just sold
a genuine m5 mirror for something like $50 so I will remember those of you who gave me a hard time on here. j/k

That's good to know, Roger .

If Ed can just meet or beat Garry's prices on OEM parts, he'll get our business. Garry also provides exceptional service, so it will just be a matter of price, for members on this forum. I paid $146 from Garry Romani for the Trunk Finisher on my old 530. I'm sure his shipping rates vary, based on location of the buyer, but being that he's just north of me, his parts get delivered the following day and shipping is always a minimal charge.

If Ed's competitive though, I'd give him my business. I'm all in support of small business owners.

egk2, if everyone seems harsh to vendors its for a reason. QuadM has about $100k of this forums members hard earned money. The members did not get any parts, and the guy has not been tracked down. So everyone is very cautious now.
