Up for sale is a used M5 rear bumper that I was not happy with because I'm a perfectionist. In any case, look at the pics and determine your wants. I am selling it for $300 plus shipping. The box is about 6 ft x 3 ft x 4 ft.
All offers will be considered. If you are local, you can pick it up and save on shipping. You will see the imperfection that can be fixed with a good body shop. The only thing that I could not and did not invest too much time in is looking for the PDC bracket to replace the missing one.
This bumper will be good for someone without PDC. The paint job is almost perfect but not quite.
Please go here to see the photos or download it for a closer inspection.

PM for questions or post it here.
Thanks,

What do you mean? your bumper have PDC and I don't get this.
BTW, I'm looking to get M-tech front bumper and M5 rear bumper so this would be a great choice.
Anyway, can you explain that?

PDC is Park Distance Control or something like that. It is the sensors that help you park without hitting anything
His bumper has PDC sensors and it should be great for PDC bumper, isn't it?

In an attempt to clarify and disclose all information, I'm confusing some of you. I do have a couple of serious offers currently, but there has not been any payment arrangement, and I'm trying to find the most inexpensive way (but safe) to ship an oversized box. If anyone knows of a good shipper, please let me know. Here's the scoop:
From the pics below, you can see that the bumper fits just fine. Because I had a bad body shop, the following discoveries were found:
a. They did not smooth out the trunk valence area; hence, there was a very unnoticeable bulge in the middle when, if done right, it would be smooth. In trying to fix the problem after they had done a PRISTINE paint job on it, they went back and screw up the paint job (with a different painter just in that area through) and create an orange peel. You have to look for the bulge and the orange peel to see it. If you are going to repaint the bumper, these should not be an issue for a competent body shop.
b. The second right PDC bracket is NOT the original M5 PDC bracket (See the difference in the pic)? Hence, I want to clearly disclose this information so that someone with PDC will not think they can just buy this part from the dealer. It is not sold by anybody. If you want the bracket, you have to buy a whole new m5 rear bumper. If you are lucky, you may find the PDC bracket from someone who is not using it. But if you don't care about it, then at least I told you so. Hence, my comment is that it is good for someone with NON PDC since they can fill in the holes when they repaint it for their car. Hope that makes since.
c. The lower area near the exhaust outlets have bent just a small bit from hot exhaust, which is very unnoticeable too. I just want to disclose this information. Unless you bent down on your knees, you won't see these two small blemishes.
When you buy a new m5 rear bumper from BMW, all you get is the bumper and not the following parts. What you will need in addition to the rear bumper for a complete installation are:
1. Rear center reinforce - $26 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=51&fg=15
no. 16
2. Rear center guide - $25 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=51&fg=15
no. 14
and some miscellaneous penny screws. That's it. Pics below:

Hello bimmer32,
as I heard from a colleague that you also need part 9 (for left and right) to mount the M5 rear bumper.
Are these parts also included in your M5 bumper?
09 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR LEFT M 1 51127895751 $25.67
09 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR RIGHT M 1 51127895752 $25.67

Not true, you do not need part no. 9 since your non M should already have it. Look at the part no. for the non M model, and you will see that it is the same as the M model.
They have different part numbers:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=51&fg=15
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR LEFT 51127033715
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR RIGHT 51127033716
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR LEFT M 51127896615
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR RIGHT M 51127896616
So it seems to be needed by changing to M5.

I had a look to the mount for both normal bumpers for E60.
They have different part numbers:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=51&fg=15
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR LEFT 51127033715
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR RIGHT 51127033716
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR LEFT M 51127896615
05 MOUNT, BUMPER REAR RIGHT M 51127896616
So it seems to be needed by changing to M5.

You'll noticed that there are several other parts that are the same but have different part no. because it is noted for M or non M, but it's the same actual part. You'll know by experience.

The part where the bumper mounts onto the mount is the same. I've used the same non M mount for my m5 rear and it fits perfectly.
