I read up online that now the new iPhone 5 nano sim is compatible with AT&T network, so you can use it at either carrier when you first activate it. No, as it turns out, it seems that the only difference between At&t and Verizon iPhone 5 is that Verizon comes factory unlocked.

It has been reported and confirmed that people that have Verizon iPhone 5 has been able to put in SIM cards from other carriers and have it work.

And because of that, I am requesting my second factory unlock from At&t, lol.

If I'm seeing that part/model number correctly it says MD659LL/A which is a Verizon iPhone 5 LTE model. The GSM on this Verizon model is unlocked to use on AT&T but you will NOT get AT&T LTE speeds only 3G/4G.

This Verizon model doesn't have the AT&T 700b band to support AT&T LTE.

If you're a global traveler that wants better LTE coverage than this Verizon model is your best choice because it supports many different countries LTE bands.
The AT&T iPhone 5 supports only a few LTE bands. (Only USA & Canada?)
