I am not sure about the front but the rears are the same as the part numbers are the same. I have a feeling the fronts are the same however members of this forum that have switched to an M5 front bumper cover have had fitting issues that have been 90% corrected by using an M5 fender bracket. The only other difference is the wheel well liners. I wonder if the M5 units are used if everything will line up 100%.

Yep, strange... The BBS RS-GT 20" that I'm selling fits both M5 and non-M5 E60 vehicles

 

There were no spacers but I am not to sure about the backspacing here is a pic of our with those rims and I already know I still need to lower it and no comments from the peanut gallery about the bling it is my wifes car and they are what she wanted

 

Maybe Mark can just tell us what the offsets are for the wheels and we'll know if they'll fit or not.

The M5 front fenders are wider than non-M.
The reason the M5 front bumper can be fitted on non-M fenders is because it is made of polyurethane which is flexible.
Wheels made for non-M E60's will fit on M5's, but will sit further inside the fender.
I'm not sure how other wheel manufacturers make their wheels, but iForged makes wheels specific to each vehicle. So if the wheels are made for an M5, the front wheels will sit further out on a non-M which can lead to rubbing issues.

 

I would take Ace's word for it when it comes to the iForged wheels

 

Honestly I don't have the offsets. Iforged is very secretive about there offsets. If someone is interested in wheels than I will call Iforged in the AM.

 

I've seen a few posts now about iforged being quiet about their offsets. I just received my iforged wheels 2 weeks ago and the spec sheet with offsets was in the box. Maybe something they just started doing recently.

 

I purchased a set of Maya wheels from another member and the fronts did not fit the M5 w/o 12MM spacers (offset +29) . When I tried to install them, the fronts would bump against the shocks and there was no way they would bolt on, but they fit non-M e60 w/o an issue.

 

All OEM front wheels for non-M and non-xi E60's have ET20

The stock E60 M5 wheels are
19X8.5 ET12
19X9.5 ET28

From this info it is obvious the Maya wheel had the incorrect offset for the application. To cut costs they probably only make one wheel to cover the entire E60 range and probably other BMW's as well. I do not find this hard to believe as I am not a fan of all these new "fashion" wheels companies that have sprouted up over the past few years. The majority of these companies give little to no information about their wheels. I suspect that most are made in Asia (China). It used to be you get what you pay for, but not any more.
