I'm selling the H&R Street Performance Coilovers from my own personal car, a 2007 550i. I bought this kit new, and removed it after 5000-8000 miles in favor of Eibach Pro Kit Springs. I do prefer the H&R's over Eibach Pro Kit because it holds corners much better, but unfortunately I also use the car to shuttle clients around so it needs to be a little more passenger friendly

For 04-07 545 or 550.

Retail price is anywhere between $1400-1600/set, Wholesale is $1200-1300

Asking $1000 shipped.

in your opinion how much firmer is this set up comparied to the stock sport suspension? also how many hours are needed to install and does the car need to realigned afterward? just trying to get my total cost for it.

thanks Steve

Steve, the ride is definitely more firm than stock sport, but not to a point where I consider "obnoxious". I also run 19's and it is mor stiff than 18's. But everything is personal preference and in this case I was thinking about my passengers more than anything else

You can do install in 3-4 hours depending on whether you've installed this before.

The fronts are pretty straightforward, there are some brackets holding brake lines that need to be removed. Then you'll have to remove a few retaining bolts to loosen the damper. Add some WD40, someone stepping on the rotor and this comes off pretty easly.

The rear is slightly easier, but the top of the coilover is located inside the trunk so the trunk linings have to come off (not very hard).

Plan to have buddy to help you out because this is definitely a 2 person job.

Oh and PS, you don't need to have a spring compressor to do the install although it would definitely help. But you do need to remove the upper spring perch from the stock spring/shocks. With stock sports package, the springs don't really fly anywhere when you loosen them, but I can't say the same for a non-sports package.

Looks like it due to the V8's being a little heavier. Unless you can use those part #'s to cross reference. These are still available
