add to that "wrap tips in supportive material before packing into box". Fedex managed to beat up my tips!

thank god they're single-wall tips- the muffler shop was able to straighten them out nicely with a special tool. whew!

Looks great, sounds great. There's a lovely snarl as you accelerate past 2500 that I particularly like and will be hearing plenty of.
FOILED! I'm sorry to hear that Felix.
Glad the shop was able to straighten them out. Let me know if you'd like to file a claim with FedEx.

Now what are you going to do with that B&B? You've got my address

no worries on the claim, the shop didn't charge me extra for straightening them so thankfully all is well.

the B&B is going up for sale @ $400 +ship. I still have the original B&B packaging (that's how I know about wrapping the tips.) drop me a PM if you want it.

Post pics and sound clips when you get a chance. Did you remove any of the resonators?

i'll get it nice and clean and take pics tomorrow. I didn't remove any of the resonators. I was toying around with removing the large center one, but nahhh. I'll leave it be, at least for now.

My E39 had an Eisenmann Race and I replaced the resonator with a magnaflow straight-thru and that sounded lovely, if a bit LOUD. that's why I'm kind of surprised at how quiet this eisenmann is. Must be the resonator's fault.

When I had the Eisenmann on my car, I had removed all 3 resonators.
Just to test, we took the pipes off the cats, and -WOW- it's LOUD.
We were very surprised at how much the Eisenmann tones the sound down.
And to that, no droning either

Delje08 has the Eisenmann Race minus the center resonator. Here's a link,

believe me, I played his sound file and yours many, many times over before I pulled the trigger on buying yours. Problem is you can't tell much of a difference between the two, and most importantly, I'd like to hear inside the car without the center resonator (or a magnaflow glass pack replacement.)

it'll wait. i'm not going back to the muffler shop for at least a few months. they don't know me by name yet, unlike your shop.

yup. I miss the B&B volume! WTF was I thinking? yes, this Eisenmann sounds nice...except it needs to be turned up a LOT... I think stock with the valve welded open was this loud...
