Hey Technic, I got the harness in the mail this past friday. Thanks for the fast shipping! Ok, so today I installed my new SWS8 woofers, P300x2 RF amp and box. Honestly, I'm too sure what I did wrong coz the sub box isn't working. I've attached some pics for you to see. Sorry if I'm not too good with the 12V audio. I can rebuild an engine but the 12V electronics stuff is a bit intimidating to me. Please check the pics and let me know if I did some wiring the wrong way. Thanks.

Your 12V source and ground seem solid, so the culprit if you are not getting a power light on the amp is the remote cable. Other than that hooking up an sub and amp system is as easy as a failed marriage.

i tried that point for a ground and it didn't work. use the nut below your bruce lci tailight boxes, that worked fine for me since it's bare metal once you unscrew the nut.

I can see the LOC LED lit so that means that the LOC is receiving the low pass/high level output signals from the OEM amp, therefore there should be a low pass/low level signal at the LOC RCA outputs. What I cannot see is the RF amp LED showing that it is turned on.

If the RF amp LED is turned on then the LOC remote sensing is working, and the problem is either the LOC output, the RF amp gains, or the sub itself is bad. If the RF amp LED is not lit then the LOC remote sensing is not working somehow or the RF amp ground is poor. Please post photos of the OEM amp 20-pin connector.

LOL! I figured out what I did wrong. Everything is working now. I have a box with one 12" JL Audio W3 sub and I can't even go past Level 5 on the Gain, its too much! I just wanted a bit more bass, lol!

Yeah, the culprit was the ground, it wasn't making good contact. Easy fix, I'm happy.

Hi Technic,

I've been looking for something like this for age's, well done for making it..

A few questions ;

1 Would you ship to UK ?
2 If so, how much ?
3 I have a UK e60 535d m sport with Logic 7 system, 2006 model, please confirm it will work for me, is there anything i can check?
4 My goal is to add a amp them a box in the boot, some people tell me its a waste of time as the boot is very well sealed, is this true?

Thanks
