Take a look at your left trunk trim and compare it with the install instructions: http://mediacdn.jlaudio.com/media/mf...pdf?1305783850

Technic - The pink wire coming from the LOC has a remote on label, so is that remote on with the key in the ignition, or a constant 12v on?

The Navone LOC has a built-in signal sensing circuitry which "senses" the OEM amp woofer outputs turning on and triggers 12V on that remote turn on line. Therefore, it will be ON while the OEM amp is powering the underseat woofers, by opening a door or the trunk while the car is off, and 2-3 minutes after locking the car up.

In other words, it will behave exacty as the OEM amp.

So, I tried to install the jl stealth box in my 2008 550 w/ LOGIC 7 but it was going to require too much modding to make it fit, so now i am just thinking of Powering the the factory under the seat subs with a aftermarket amp any recommendations? on a amp???
