I apologize in advance if this question was asked already. I have an 97 with HiFi only. Would this harness allow me to buy any amp and simply plug and play and all speakers work including subs underseat? Or do I have to do something else in addition? Also what is a common amp buy that will work and will work well? No looking to upgrade any speakers, just add an amp so I can possibly hear the darn underseat subs?
If this is then I would like to be added to list to purchase.
Thank you!

The rest of the speakers will still be powered by the OEM amp/iDrive.
The aftermarket amp that you get is determined by what you want to do and by the specs of your sub.
