I have a Dension Gateway 500 for sale. The Dension allows you to connect up your ipod and a USB drive to your idrive. If you have CDC already then you won't even need any coding. It also gives you an excellent AUX-IN which is miles better than the stock Aux-in.

Included is also a cable that allows you to extend the ipod input to bring it all the way into your armrest. The cable on its own was £50. I actually have a spare cable too if anyone wants just the cable. Looking for £35 for the cable.

I will also include the IVE1000 which allows you to divert your ipod videos to an external screen.

Again I have the box and all the accessories that came with the original box as I didn't use most of them.

Looking for £300 for the whole lot including shipping.

p.s. you can also buy a Bluetooth module or the AVR to connect up to the Gateway.

PM or email me if interested. bruce_miranda@yahoo.com

Bruce

You said that if you have the CDC then no coding is required. My car is not mp3 enabled would this still not required coding ?

If not then I'm very interested.

Thanks

Stuart

Hi Bruce, is the AVR compatible with the retrofitted CiC? That means you can watch iPod Videos on the CiD?

I don't think the AVR would be compatible with the CIC because the CID used with the CIC is now different, complete with new connectors etc.

The Dension kit that I am selling comes with the following items.

1. Dension Gateway 500 kit (boxed) as it came from Dension with all the cables etc. I didn't use any of the ipod/usb clips so they are still brand new in the box.
2. iPOD connection extension cable. This cable allowed me to install the ipod in the centre console below the phone cradle. This is an extremely hard cable to find and I paid £50 for this on its own. Ofcourse if you didn't want this cable I can deduct some money for this.
3. USB extension cable (only if you want and ask for it, this is an easy cable to find in most computer stores and doesn't cost a lot). Again allows you to put the usb in the armrest.
3. Dension IVE1000, this allows ipod videos to be sent through to a screen.

DHL Shipping included and payment is via Paypal.

All offers considered.

Is it make and model specific or could it be installed in any other car ? I have an '06 Mercedes E55 with command Nav and a '99 Lexus LX 470 with out any Nav,so would it be applicable for those cars ?
Thanks
