Basically yeah. People are trying to get rid of theirs... so there's not so much of a market in demand.

I see your point!

Anyhow, I think $650 is a fair price. Since I have seen a used TPMS were sold at $115 here at this forum. Wheels Condition are extremely good as compared to many other wheels that have been sold for $500. I am not asking for too much here. It's a fair price.

You said you sold your for $500 did you include tpms and center cap...what was the condition of your wheels?

Are you saying I should give them to people for free??? Get lost man!

$650 for everything...its a great deal for a spare or track wheels. Tires are good condition, TPMS are great, center cap. No need to repolish the rims at all. A Tire with that size at Tirerack already costs you about at least $175.

YOU TELL ME IF THIS IS TOO MUCH...LET BREAK IT DOWN.

RIMS $70 each = $280
Tires $60 each = $240
TPMS $110 (4pcs) = $110
Center Caps (4pcs) = $20

Total of $650.

I'm not saying you should GIVE THEM AWAY for FREE. But thats what it would be like if you were to sell these. Nobody WANTS them plain and simple as that! It's a fair price I agree at $650... but you'll be lucky to get that. I sold mine for $500 with TPMS, wheel caps and 95% tires taken off as soon as I left the dealer. I unloaded them at this cost because nobody was looking to buy them for any more than that... and I just needed to get "rid" of them.

If anything, you'd probably get your money's worth selling the tires, tpms and wheel caps seperately. But do what you want man, i'm not going to suggest anything else except that you should keep them! Or prepare to take a loss if you need space in your garage or something.

I don't think the OP price is out of line for original BMW wheels w/TPMS. The tires are probably an issue as they add to S&H costs. I think, broken up the parts are worth more than the whole. Maybe if you don't get any nibbles in a week or so you should spend the money to break them up and sell separately. e.g. I've seen original BMW TPMS go for $35 each of ebay. And bare original wheels have sold for +/- $100 - $125 each ... more than the $70 value you put on them!

That said, most on this forum are looking to move FROM 17" to larger ... I'll bet if this was October and you listed this as a ready-for-winter package with all-season tires, you find more takers.

I agree... but i never said they aren't worth more than $500, I basically said, you can't sell them for more than $500. I think the wheels are worth at least $1000 compared to dealer cost, but as I stated before we're not comparing to dealer cost at this point. It's supply and demand. Worth and Cost are two very different things.
