And to be honest, and hopefully non offensive, I think the asking price is a bit more than I would personally be willing pay (not that I think the asking price is too high). Mostly because these wouldn't be my first choice of tires or wheels. I'm a pretty straightforward guy tho. $1700 shipped to me and I'd buy them just to see if I like them on my car or not (assuming they were in perfect condition and that they were ideal tire sizes. I don't know much about tire sizing).....

Tires size is good to go/ideal size for non M5's e60's...
